Nodus 02 production update

Hey guys,
I wish you all a happy new year that brings you whatever you need the most!
It’s been a while since my last update and I humbly apologize for that, but as mentioned in my previous update, the last six months were a very hard period for me and my family, that came to a close with the passing of my mother in December. This ordeal consumed a vast amount of time and created considerable costs that we struggled to cover, derailing our normal life and many plans—including the production of Nodus 02.
I didn’t provide any updates during that time because everything was so uncertain, and I didn’t want to make promises I was unable to deliver.
As some of you may remember, Dimday Red is a personal project in which I have put my all for the past four years. So, despite this hardship and its repercussions, I am determined to see it through. Today, I resumed production in China, which was halted in October, and although they will have a break for the Chinese new year, I expect no further delays and plan to have the pledges delivered by March.
On top of everything, I deeply regret not being able to deliver by the promised date. It may sound cliché, but I truly value your trust and am fully committed to doing everything I can to honor it.
Still, the Dimday Red project is anything but abandoned. Here are a couple of treats I have in store for all physical backers to keep you warm while you wait!
Dimday Red VTT in Foundry
Thanks to the invaluable help and support of Fotis Chrysoulas, we will have a Dimday Red module for the Foundry VTT. All physical backers will have access to its adventures, in the updated version of the platform, for free.
Dimday Red - Fading Horizon mini board game
While designing the Scavenger Box for the Collectors Edition, I came up with an idea for a little solo board game called Fading Horizon, that will be embedded on the box. You play a scientist trying to decipher the outcome of the Lapse. All physical backers will get the game first in it’s digital form (PDF).
And something for everyone!
The Dimday Red Quickstart v.0045 is here, more streamlined than ever, designed for easy to get into one-shots, and effortless solo sessions.
All of the above will be ready to be delivered to you in the next couple of weeks; I just didn’t want to delay this update any longer.
Once more, I thank you from my heart for your patience and support. Maybe one day Dimday Red will be owned by a bigger company, that won’t be as affected by personal hardship as I was, but until then all I can promise is my very best - and then some!

On another note, I’m finalizing the collaboration details with the factory, and soon we’ll be starting the pre-production process for the physical rewards. It’s an exciting (and slightly nerve-wracking!) phase, but I’m confident everything will come together beautifully. I’ll keep you updated as we move forward.

Rejoice! Dimday Red Nodus 02 cometh!

Hey all,
I can't express (but I will try!) how excited I am to present you with the fruit of my loins, Dimday Red Nodus 02. After the warm reception of last year's Nodus 01, it was an intriguing challenge for me to pick up where it left, but also take it so much further!
As I hope you will see for yourselves, Nodus 02 is an ambitious entry to the five scheduled Nodus zines, one of each District of the Center. The 54-story Hochburg Slum where the Loving & Dying adventure takes place, is fully mapped, with 41 NPCs scattered in it, each with their unique stories and objectives.
I aspire for Nodus 02 to be the next step for Dimday Red's evolution, paving the way for what I have in mind for Nodus 03, coming next year. But I also want it to keep providing the best possible value I can create for a zine project, as a heartfelt thank you for all of you who honor me with choosing it for your adventures.

Another thing I am really proud of, coming up next week, is the Pocket Guide to the Lapse. In this 250-page book (with more than 50 pages than I originally planned for), you can find extensive lore for the Dimday Red world, but also 23 new artworks and 23 flash-fiction stories that bring it to life. It took me much more time to bring it to life than I initially expected, but I feel it is totally worth it!
Having said that, the ambitious creation of both Nodus 02 and the Pocket Guide, in conjunction with some unfortunate health problems in my family, took me a couple of months out of my initial schedule for the physical production of the project. So, although the digital versions of all deliverables are mostly on schedule, I will start the production process at the beginning of September, and I expect it to be completed in about two months.
I apologize for this but although it may not seem like it sometimes, I still work on the creation and production of Dimday Red mostly by my lonesome. I will keep you posted as things progress and I am sure the end result will compensate you for your patience.

Hey guys,
The time for things from the Nodus 02 campaign, to start coming to life has come! First of all, something many of you have been eagerly anticipating:, and as Kickstarter backers, you have the privilege of being the first to get your hands on. The Dimday Red TTRPG Solo Mode!
Dive into the doomed world of DdR alone (good luck with that!) and unravel the mysteries of the Center! You will have Circe, a Marble Eyes oracle, on your side, or more accurately inside your head, to guide you and help you in your adventures.
You will also find a Journal page template, you can use to record your progress and remember your struggles for survival.
You can get the Solo Mode now with the updated DdR Quickstart 00.42 !
If you already have Nodus 01 you can use it to create your first solo adventure! But you can also get the Butcher of Hollow Way the first of the Plebis Collection adventures, for free! In any case, you're most probably doomed, so enjoy!
And that is just the start! Next week you will have access to the digital version of the Nodus 01+ zine, with 16 extra pages, new art and the rules of the Monojux blood sport!
And in the week after that the digital version of Nodus 02 zine will be upon you! I can't put in words how excited I am about this baby!
And that's just the start! More the-world-is-burning hot stuff to come throughout August, so stay tuned!
